Just the Tip – January 20, 2021 (Phoenix Suns vs Houston Rockets)

On the last edition of Just the Tip, we made the mistake of getting too cute trying to double up on MY Uconn Huskies and went 1-1 on the day ending down units. Tragic to say the least.

During the interim since my last post, I have downloaded an excel tracker to track my bets. This tracker has taken my game to the next level. I feel like I’m doing a hard day’s work logging picks and tracking profit. Currently, I’m the CFO of a Fortune 100 company with this excel file.

I’ve always told my followers you have to have a lot of guys…

Today I am keyed in on the Rockets because they have a rare guy-to-guy connection between Victor Oladipo and Christian Wood. Game 1 of the Oladipo era ended in a loss to the Bulls but they put up 120 points. I have high hopes for Oladipo to rebound his career and return to All Star form in Houston. In Game 1 he looked very good scoring 32 points and recording 9 assists. I expect Oladipo and Christian Wood to have very good pick and roll chemistry moving forward. Today, I’m keyed in on the Rockets Team Total over 105.5. The Rockets have went over 106 in 4 of their last 6, while the Suns have allowed opponents to score 106 or more points in each of their last 6 games. Lock it in:

Today’s Picks: Suns/Rockets Over 218 Risking 0.5 units to win 0.45 Units. Rockets Team Total Over 105.5 risking 1.2 Units to win 1 Unit

Last Picks: (1/11) UCONN Team Total Over 72.5 Risking 2.2 Units to Win 2 Units, UCONN -5 Risking 1.1 Units to win 1 Unit

Just the Tip’s 2021 Record ATS: 5-4-0 -0.4 Units
