Earlier in the year, I brought the people the Vanessa Carlton challenge. A simple fitness challenge of completing 1000 miles in one month to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. We came up short of the original goal but followers of PopOffBaby.com raised a combined $184.86 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Critics (skells) would say this was a failure. Others (me) know raising $184.86 is no small task. Some (skells) won’t give us the credit we deserve so I’ll say it. We’re heroes. Unfortunately, we did not complete the job. There still is not a cure for Alzheimer’s which means I (a hero) have to get back to work. I’m starting things back up with a warm up challenge for the holiday season…
Introducing the Bagtona 500.
500 miles by November 26, 2020 for the Alzheimer’s Association. Donations can start as small as 5 cents per mile ($25). I have already committed 10 cents per mile.
and follow my progress here on Strava
Frankly, I’m not doing much of anything in the current work from home state I’m living in and am not in the mood to make any L Bag related content but figured followers of the website could do some more good and I could ignite some fitness challenges to raise money to fight a disease that’s crippled many families globally.
Bagtona 500, if you’re not riding me to a cure I have two words for you…
